On February 2, 2012, 2100 hours, Units from 89, 24, 1, and 2 responded to 2277 North Sherman Street in Springettsbury Township for a reported house fire. Units arrived to find smoke showing from the attic and found fire in the walls around the fireplace. The fire was extinguished quickly causing approximately $10,000 in damage to the structure and displacing one adult and two kids. Battalion Chief Hoff was the Incident Commander.
