On Tuesday, February 21, 2012, Eagle Fire Company #1 (York County Station 22) became the second all volunteer company to join the York Area United Fire and Rescue. Volunteer Chief Ryan Brenneman and members of the company were present to sign the agreement with YAUFR Commission Chairman William Schenck. The agreement provides for chief services when the volunteer chiefs are unavailable, joint training, bulk purchasing opportunities and shared operational procedures.
