On Tuesday, February 21, 2012, units from 89 and surrounding companies were dispatched to 3535 Pebble Ridge Drive in Springettsbury Township for a reported house fire. Units arrived to find a small fire in the kitchen with no extension. The damage was listed at $10,000 and Battalion Chief Van Pelt was the Incident Commander. Personnel from YAUFR will revisit the neighborhood on February 22, 2012 to issue smoke alarms and fire safety literature.
